ABOUT EMILY "You can't stop the waves but you can learn how to surf " - Jon Kabat-Zinn
The quote 'You can't stop the waves but you can learn how to surf' resonates across all of my work. My aim is to support you in making your own informed, empowered decisions, whilst being there to listen and hold space, so that you can confidently carve your own unique path for a positive journey through pregnancy, birth and motherhood.
You'll always receive a genuine, warm hello and a friendly face; someone you feel at ease with, so you can be yourself, share how you feel and ask the questions you want to ask. I pride myself in providing balanced information and giving mothers support that is tailored to her needs, with a no one size fits all approach. Focusing on the journey of the individual is at the core of my work and providing that 'village' type of support - nourishing, nurturing, sharing and celebrating.
My self care ritual is swimming - plunging myself in to the Cornish sea is like hitting my 'reset' button, to re-energise, revitalise and rebalance. It's my all time favourite thing to do. I also love baking, and my signature bakes end up making their way to my courses and to the homes of families I am supporting!
